Job Title: Project Manager

YBA Architects is seeking a Project Manager with excellent design skill and a strong knowledge of architectural design. This position will involve all stages of design and construction, with a focus on mixed-use multi-family, office and retail work of all scales.

The primary function of a Project Manager is to lead a team while guiding the project to craft the most beautiful result while being mindful of the budget and the community at large.

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

  • At least 7 years’ experience practicing architecture.
  • 3+ years of project management experience. Must have local experience taking at least two projects all the way through.
  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture, Drafting, Design, or equivalent.
  • Full documentation production for a ground up building.
  • Team management experience.
  • Experience working with contractors, sub-contractors and consultants.
  • Previous experience working on mixed-use multifamily projects.
  • Knowledge of Oregon building codes and LEED standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft, Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp required; Adobe Suite, Lumion, VRAY a plus.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and organized, with strong communication skills
