Cascara is inspired by the former glaciers of our area and the landforms they shaped. The textured white siding and the vertical windows mimic the texture of natural ice and glaciers. The brick at the ground floor has varying texture and layers to reference the glacial till and sediment created and left by glaciers.

Cascara is the simplest building plan and program in Hyas Phase 1 development with retail on the ground floor with support spaces and residential units above. The top floor units step back to have deep, covered balconies for the occupants to enjoy their river and mountain view. This building also connects to the adjacent building, Broadrock, at the second floor. This allows the residents of Cascara to directly enjoy the terrace and community space there.
