Industrial Barre (I Barre) is a Portland-grown wellness franchise that occupies the leading edge of barre-based fitness. YBA engaged with its founders to deliver design of its flagship location along with the first wave of additional locations as it expanded. Each was in areas of the city that were rapidly rejuvenating. The design approach and ethos blended amplification of the raw structural features of the various spaces with an ultra-chic, northwest aesthetic. The spatial layouts enable flow and convenience while the aesthetic treatment established a clear brand identity.
