K15 was conceived as a radically different mixed-use housing development from Portland’s recent boom of similar mixed-use projects. Taking advantage of the large numbers of abandoned shipping containers following the economic crisis, K15 uses 36 shipping containers to create fun and novel living situations for young Portlanders.
