YBA was asked to propose a mixed-use development project for Hood River, Oregon. The campus would include housing for young professionals, a tech campus, and trails for local hiking. Situated right above the Columbia River with views of the Washington Bluff, the project was proposed as a series of medium-height, prefabricated wood buildings, tall enough for views out and short enough to remain hidden in the existing fir trees.
