Joshua Rowell

Josh is a Job Captain at YBA, with experience in single and multifamily housing, mixed use development, and commercial design. He specializes in developing concepts through the schematic phase and into documentation through collaborative, research-based problem solving. He values efficiency in his work through technical proficiency, graphic quality, and project organization.

Josh’s interest lies in sustainable design, placemaking, and how the built environment affects our day to day lives. His education has reinforced his commitment to sustainable design solutions that work on both a social and ethical level, achieved through thoughtful study that benefits both community and environment.

Outside of the office, Josh is an avid runner and cyclist. He enjoys exploring the beautiful landscapes of the Pacific Northwest as well as traveling and experiencing different cultures.
