Tim Schneider

Tim is a project architect and associate at YBA, with extensive experience designing multi-family housing, mixed-use, affordable housing, retail/commercial design, and tenant improvement projects. He enjoys all phases of the architectural process, from design and development through construction documents and construction administration.

Tim has a passion for creating custom building & site designs for clients – with a strong identity and sense of place – that also help contribute positively to the urban environment around them. He is interested in the history and evolution of urban design, and the role (and responsibility) that designers have in shaping our cities. He firmly believes that urban design & architecture go hand-in-hand, and should aim to create environments that are functional, inclusive, and inspire excitement and awe.

When not working, Tim can be found exploring the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest through camping & hiking with family & friends.
